McConnect - Wndows remote desktop connection client application.

     

McConnect is a free client application that was design to simplify the Remote desktop connection (to windows servers) by saving the connection settings to up to 12 servers.

Requirements: Windows MSTSC.EXE file.
 

McConnect Main window:

The main windows can be positioned in 6 different positions on the desktop screen, this window automatically slides out of the computer display when the application is not used, and slides back when a mouse is over it.

Parameters and switches description    



Server’s Name – Sets the Server’s command button label on the Main Menu

IP Address Specifies the remote computer and, optionally, the port number to which you want to connect.

For example:

                        192.168.0.12 – server’s IP address

                       MyDataServer – Server’s network assigned name.(Host Name)

Used - if checked the server will be enabled/displayed on McConnect Main Menu.
Full - Starts Remote Desktop Connection in full-screen mode.
Span - Matches the remote desktop width and height with the local virtual desktop, spanning across multiple monitors if necessary. To span across monitors, the monitors must all have the same height and be aligned side by side.
Admin - Is used for administration of a terminal server.

Console - Console is absolute and support servers prior to windows 2000 server, using Windows XP SP2 and below. (kept for backward compatibility)

Start Position: Sets the application’s startup position – one of 6 positions.
